This was my second visit, but the first with my new bride. I stayed back in the 80s and was thrilled to see it still had all the old charm with lots of modern updates... It's a bit off the beaten track, but we considered that a plus! We felt we were alone in the jungle once in our suite. We never heard another soul from our room or pool.

3 Cheers for Pavilions and Pools!

Thank you for making our recent stay (1/20/09 – 1/27/09) at Pavilions and Pools both memorable and enjoyable. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at your establishment in 1977, and were very happy to return. Both the units and the grounds are maintained with attention to detail. The entire staff was helpful, friendly and acted in a professional manner. The addition of Carmen’s Restaurant was a welcomed addition, the food was delicious!

For many travelers, the opportunity to leave the world behind and completely relax is the ultimate destination. With delightful grounds that afford natural privacy, along with a contagious low-key attitude, the Pavilions and Pools in St. Thomas has all the ingredients for a quiet, romantic getaway. Though the intimate twenty five unit hotel offers access to the full run of island activities, these fully equipped, three room villas with private swimming pools may well be best enjoyed at ease.

This "one of a kind" hotel has a private pool for each villa. All one bedroom units have master king beds, an "open air" bathroom with full tiled shower, well stocked clean kitchen and the best staff I have ever encountered. It was very quiet, private, and an overall excellent place to stay. One entire length of the unit was all glass sliding doors (with privacy shades) overlooking your very own personal swimming pool. It is a must "go-see and consider" if you plan to visit St Thomas.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay...

No need to rent a car, its right off the main road, so you can easily catch a safari taxi into Red Hook and its a short walk to the beach, which is I believe is one of the best beaches on St. Thomas, and if you are into quite relaxation youll agree. Great snorkeling too!
